| In the office... | | In an office breakroom...there are two guys having a cup of coffee and they are sitting at opposite ends of the table in the room. One guy is as calm as he can be while the other guy is tense and looked as if we hadn't gotten any sleep."How do you do it?" the tense guy asks."Do what?" the calm one answers."Look at you. You're in here enjoying a cup of coffee in the most peaceful manner and we both work in the same office." he replied."Ah! That? It's simple. Every time I get anything to fill out or any mail that needs to be answered, I just put a little sticky on it saying 'Pass it to Steve'. In our office there is bound to be at least one guy named Steve right?" the other guy chuckled.
At this moment, the other guy got up from his seat, walked over to the peaceful guy and popped him in the face and said"My name is Steve!"

The one I'll post the link for I usually get several offers from... though they aren't the usual mainstream mags every time but interesting sometimes too. | When You Go To Lunch | | When you head out to your job in the morning do you have your lunch prepared the night before? Or do you go out to eat everyday? And when you start a new job some people don't like yo eat in the cafateria or break room on their first day at work. I ate in the lunch room at my job the first week I was there and I felt like people were staring at me. Have you ever ffelt like that? I was eating alone and I started this week to eat at my desk at lunch so no one would stare at me. What do you do? | |

| Do you walk fast? | | Do you walk fast most of the time? Today, my co - worker told me that I walk fast, to and fro to the break room. She couldn't catch with me on the hallway. I told her that I didn't really walk that fast, at least I didn't feel it. Sometimes, I might walk a little bit fast, because I already get used to it. It was part of my habit. | How often do you get rip off from the vending machine? | | At work, sometimes I need some snack to feed my hungry stomach. Most of the time, I go to the vending machine at the break room, it robbed my money. Either it doesn't give my change back, or it 10 cents or 25 cents short. I told the vending machine guy to check on it. I guess that he didn't really care about it. How many of you got rip off by the vending machine so often, you want to kick the crap out of it? | |

| Don't you just hate people who interrupting your conversation? | | While at work sometimes, I was in a conversation with someone at the break room. There is a collegue of mine just like to interrupted our conversation without invited. Don't you hate that? If he has manner at all, he should let our conversation finished; then he can ask us if he would like to join in. Otherwise, don't just bother our conversation, and cut in to change our subject. That is really rude. Don't you hate that too? | |

| ive tried | | Ive been trying to quit smoking for a year now. I have good and bad days with it. I Have tried everything chantix, patches, gum you name it. I have noticed its harder at work not to smoke on breaks than at home. I work in a smoking environment, at a casino. I am not on the floor but most of my coworkers and friends smoke. I tried the non smoking break room and to be honest its just not a fun as hangin out with the smokers. They laugh and joke around where when you go in the non smoking room they want it quiet and dark. Dont know what that means. I Have a plan to try and quit again in the month of August when I am taking 2 wks off for vacations. Hope it works this time.
I have been a smoker since i was 13 yrs old and am now 43 so take it from there

| Stealing in the Office, UGH! | | I need your help myLotters please...I've been here 15 years and am the only Hispanic here that came in as a student, got my GED here, and was hired. I'm feeling some type of way and it's giving me the biggest headache, ugh!
There are 9 people in my office building and about 5 people in the back in Tax Office. We also have a cleaning lady who comes in after hours... We all have access to every office. Most of the people here have worked here for over 30 years. This morning we noticed a note in the break room stating that 2 new knives are missing and would whoever took them to return them...as if that were not enough we were all called in to the conference room where our supervisor stated that she was not acusing no one but that knives were missing and MONEY FROM THE PETTY CASH was also missing but didn't mention an amount...
MyLotters, I am poor and never have been, nor will I be rich and there are many, many things I've done in my past but being a thief is certainly not one of them...I could honestly say that I could be starving and at many points in my life I was, but I never resorted to stealing...I resorted to selling drugs!
