Discuss what business supplies help your business be at the top of it's game. | Why the big complaints about universal health care? | | As I see it, most of the United States already gets publicly funded Health Care. All public school teachers, government officials and employees, those on Medicare and Medicaid, and any Health Care personnel who work in facilities where the majority of the money comes from Medicare or Medicaid, and all members of the armed forces all have their Health Care funded by the taxpayers. We could extend this to those who work in industries whose primary income is derived from government and military spending. We can also throw in anyone who works in research or public service that is funded by grant money. State colleges and universities are receiving healthcare paid out of the taxes collected. The list goes on and on and on. So, why shouldn't the rest of us have the same access to lower cost Health Care. Those who purchase individual plans can spend as much as $2,000 per month for Health Care premiums. Forcing companies to form group plans for this segment will be a real boon to these individuals and families and should free up some...

Twenty percent (20%) expect it to improve the quality of health care, and 18% think quality will stay about the same.Fifty-five percent (55%) also expect the health care plan to drive up the cost of health care rather than achieve its stated goal of causing those costs to go down. Only 18% believe health care costs will indeed go down because of the plan’s passage. Another 16% expect costs to stay about the same.Male voters remain more critical of the health care plan than female...

| | The new health care plan | | I would like to know what others think. If I understand the new health care plan correct then every person is require to carry health insurance, if the person doesn't have health insurance the penalty is $800.00 or 2% of the AGI, which ever is greater, for each year not covered. Employers who don't provide health insurance pay a penalty of $2000.00 for each non-covered employee per year. I would like to know what other people think about the new health care plan and what people are planning to do if for example they are unemployed. The penalty is $800.00 that is if I understood it correctly. The days the average individual pays between $3000.00 and $4000.00 per year for regular health insurance coverage, nothing really special. Plus the premiums have increase by about 25%. If a person is unemployed or they hours were reduced due to the economy who have afford paying a health insurance premium of about $333.00 a month? Would many people not just opt for paying the $800.00 penalty? | |
| | No Free Lunch Health Care Law Not Working As Advertised for Some Families | | Parents wanting to keep their adult children on their health care coverage will most likely have to pay more money in their premium cost to do so.
Most of us know there in no free lunch some one has to pay for everything that is being offered free.
The link below explains how this will work for the parents wanting to keep their children up to the age of 26 years old on their health care insurance.
Maybe I'm just old fashion but adults in their twenties should be making their own way in life or at least they did in my day, what say you?(Parents who want to keep their adult children on their health care coverage)Washington (AP) - President Barack Obama's health care overhaul was supposed to take care of a major worry for parents of 20-year-olds making the transition to work: keeping the kids insured. But what sounds like a simple solution -- starting this year, letting young adults stay on their parents' health plan until they turn 26 -- involves a surprising amount of fine print. As a consequence, some families may have to wait until 2011 to get their kids covered, particularly if the parents are working for a large employer, benefits experts and government...
| | Wading in on... HEALTH CARE | | Yup. I'm back. And I am now going to into your never ending health care debate. From a different angle. The complaint is the Obama health plan is going to cost more money. How much is open to debate. But, did you stop and think, that if you had single payer health care, like Canada and the rest of the industrialized world, you wouldn't be paying private for profit health INsurance companies? And you would actually have MORE money in your pockets that you do now?Just cut the hearts out of the INsurance companies, and you save money. Sounds all socialist I know, but really you are part way there now, so what's the difference? | |
| | No Obamacare for Muslims under newly passed health care bill~ | | Muslin's and a couple other small groups of religious do not believe in having health care insurance, they all have been excepted from purchasing health care insurance or being fined in the newly pasted democrat health care bill.
If your not among these groups how do you feel about being forced to buy health care and if you do not being heavy fined by our government beginning in 2014?(No Obamacare for Muslims)The new Obamacare legislation that was forced on unwilling Americans this week specifically mandates that we all purchase health insurance. That is, unless you don’t believe in that sort of thing. That’s right, the current health care bill contains a clause which exempts certain individuals form the requirements and penalties set forth in it.http://libertyandpride.com/muslims-exempt-from-obamacare/
| | Health Care a Right in the Constitution | | We are being told that Health Care is a right given in the Constitution there fore the government can supply free health care for all. If that is true then the right bear arms is also in the constitution "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." When is the Government going to send me my gun? That is also a right that is very specifically spelled out in the Constitution. | |
| | Grab your rose colored glasses health care estimated to surpass $35 trillion. | | I wonder if this is sustainable 35 trillion is a whole of money.
I understand people that do not purchase health care they will be fined,is it per person or will each person in a family get a fine?
If it is by the number of people in the family like say mom,dad and 3 kid's that means a $5,000 fine.
I suppose it will be a non-rosy picture for the American people long after Obama is gone.
Read this health care report remembered to wear your rose color glasses~~Got Rose colored glasses?(April 23,2010 heath care report)The report found that the president's law missed the mark, although not by much. The overhaul will increase national health care spending by $311 billion from 2010-2019, or nine-tenths of 1%. To put that in perspective, total health care spending during the decade is estimated to surpass $35 trillion.Administration officials argue the increase is a bargain price for guaranteeing coverage to 95% of Americans. The report's most sober assessments concerned Medicare. In addition to flagging the cuts to hospitals, nursing homes and other providers as potentially unsustainable, it projected that reductions in payments to private Medicare...
| | Why is it the health care professionals are rubbish? | | I have suffered depression since I was 14 and I have been passed from professional to professional, until the last few years.I was suffering a bad episode and I was referred to my local CMHT (Community Mental Health Team) and I went my my initial assessment a few weeks later and all seemed well for future sessions.I went to my next session...a month later (yes, a month! Other places used to be at least weekly) and I went to see the nurse and it was became my final session. Why was this my final session? BECAUSE I SMILED.Yes, apparently smiling means you are fine and that your depression is cured and everything is top of the world.Wrong.I am never going to ask for help again, if that is their attitude then what is the point? | |
