| home design | | In my younger years big houses sae the in thing. There are houses with 3 to 5 rooms and some are with 8 to 10 or more rooms. Nowadays, when condo units became a fad, the units gets smaller and smaller. The cost is one reason and the area to develop keeps on scarce. Is it the same thing in your area. | |

| The Real Kitchen.... | | When I was small, my parents kitchen was not big, but my mother used to cook every day. The kitchen was not modern, but functional and always busy. We cooked a lot.
I do remember home made food like pasta, soups and deserts.
Today I took a look at modern kitchen design. Modern kitchen is too cold and in most cases design for show not for functionality.
In reality, the nicer kitchen people have the less likely they cook in the kitchen.Do you cook at home? Is your kitchen functional? | |

| The Next Design Star - is there going to be one? | | Has anyone heard if they are going to do more The Next Design Star (was that the name of it?) Clive something or another hosted it and that was just the best. Those people had to have so many talents, think fast and make it perfect. I've enjoyed the previous ones, haven't seen the winners anywhere..except for the one guy - forget his name but he was the first show's winner I think but his show was good - but are they going to do more shows? I haven't heard a thing. I sure hope so! | |

| What is YOUR Dream House Design? | | My Dream House Design would be a mixture of classical style and modern style home design. Outside would be classical, simple with a beautiful, if not the best landscape.. but the interior would be of modern-classical mix. The interior items would be modern too. I want to build my house by the countryside near the sea.. NOT IN THE SEA. But near the open sea. And there should be a virgin forest near-by..:PI don't need a pool, since there's the open sea. There will be different rooms design that represent countries. A Japanese design room, Korean design Room etc..Well, MY Dream House Design is not really finished yet..:) I'm still working on it.And how about you? Do you have a Dream House Design in your mind atm? | |

| steps | | what r the steps do u follow??Now let's outline a step-by-step process for organizing your home office from start to finish. The first step is analysis. How do you spend your time in your office? Make a list of the different types of tasks you perform there, and create a list of functional zones that your office will need. If you are a programmer, this should be an easy task if you think of it in terms of designing a computer program. If you had to program a robot to perform all the different tasks you did in your office, how would you organize those tasks into separate modules? For instance, I came up with a list of six categories for myself: general paperwork, computer work, creative work, financial work, business reading, and manual order processing and shipping. Ideally you want to create a list of clearly defined categories that overlap as little as possible. Next, determine what physical equipment and materials you need for each category. For instance, for creative work I need access to writing instruments, design notebooks, a marker board, and a corkboard. For shipping orders I need access to packaging materials, recordable CDs, postage, a postal scale, and so on.... | |
