They gave me alot of reasons, one of them being that you don't need an antivirus software on it. Are macbooks really that resistant to viruses? | woohoo bought a new macbook white unibody late 2009! | | Yesterday i bought a new macbook white.After having a black macbook for three years i thought i was ready for the new one.
I used my time machine backup from the black macbook to put the files on my new macbook within half an hour everything was installed and it was ready for use.Tested the battery and well i think i used the battery for at least 5 hours till 6 hours and it still had 25% of usage left without charging it again.I must say i always liked mac and it even got better for a lower price.With the nvidia geforce videocard the games are really nice to play now.If it comes to mac i can talk for hours but i don't want to exhaust people.Anyways please share your experience on apple products or share if you prefer windows or mac. | |

| My Friend Left His Macbook Inside the Plane | | Our friend who migrated years ago in Australia went back home to have a vacation. We had many night outs and fun before he left. One dawn of conversation, he mentioned about his Macbook left by his sister in the plane. We were so much worried about it and asked him follow up questions regarding what happened and he was just smiling. How could he just smile when his Macbook worth thousand of $$$ was left and lost? He then told me that the MAcbook was insured. They already applied an insurance in Australia. I don't get it that much about insurance on your stuffs, is it something that airline companies offered and you'll pay? How does it goes?
I was thinking, my friend might be refunded for the total value of the Macbook, but still I can't help to think of how lucky is person who was able to get that lost Macbook! It made me think too, what if my friend would just give his Macbook and say he lost it. lol | |

| Macbook Pro 13.3inch fans | | After getting my Macbook Pro last year, I spent a whole lot of time changing its innards for better performance. But however, I dropped it on the bus once and the Aluminum unibody suffered a little dent. But then 1 week later, the fan failed to start, and I had to send it for repair later on.
