| Stained Glass Globe | | On a trip to Boston we read about a stained glass globe that was three stories high. There was a glass walkway into the center of the globe. Our friends make stained glass and so we were interested in seeing it. It was located in the Christian Science Monitor museum as I recall. I know nothing about the religion, but I have very strong feelings about the globe. We felt like inside that beautiful globe we were on hallowed ground. That is the only term the four of us could come up with on the flight home. We were speechless as we walked into the globe and we whispered just because it felt right. Has anyone else been some place that made them feel this way? | |

| I would like to be preserved in a stained glass coffin. | | That's right! You read the title correctly. I think that we all should be allowed to leave this life by choice no matter how ridiculous. At first, I thought that perhaps my "balls" should be served as a stew and be served to the Bush family for the wonderful things he has done for me while in office. But then he might just dry them out, grind them up and smoke them. Then I thought I would like to be dipped in porcelain and positioned before I'm baked in the shaped like a custom toilet for a Victoria Secret's restroom, but now I think about it, there are ladies that shop there that are questionable in gender. No thank you!My final choice is to be placed in a stained glass coffin, preserved in spicy pickle juices and securely placed in the window facing outward of any local church in need of a new window. I think my pickled remains will help the parishioners of the church viewing my back-side and passers by sickened by my bloated, green visage reflect on their lives and make an effort to be better people. Then again, some kids might sneak by the church at night and smash the coffin open and watch my well-dressed remains fall behind some shrubbery next to the church... | |

| How It's Made | | I've really taken an interest lately in the Discovery Channel's program, "How it's Made." Once upon a time I had an interest in learning both stained glass windows as a craft and glass blowing. Watched recent programs on both and decided it was way too much work and looked difficult. I love this channel and watch it daily. Do you also enjoy, "How it's Made"? What have you learned that you would like to share. | |
